Graeme Crompton,
our PGA Head Professional, joined the Club on 22nd March 2010.
With nearly 25 year's
experience as a golf pro' he is regarded as an excellent coach and has
been successful in creating many Professionals in the Sussex area over the
years.
In addition, having been a head coach since 1993 he has enormous
experience teaching us 'not-so-good' players, so everybody (that's men,
ladies & juniors) is likely to benefit from his knowledge and
understanding of the game.
He uses simple, effective and easy to understand coaching techniques to
get quick results. He can also 'fix' your problem area - whether it's
driving, short game or even course management.
Graeme, and his assistants Russell and Ronnie, will be able to help you
improve your game at extremely competitive prices - see below.
Should you

As
previously explained on our Welcome page, in August
2006
West Hove Golf Club achieved the
prestigious
GolfMark Award
-
(integrating Clubmark).
What is GolfMark?
This is a
national scheme that identifies and recognises junior and beginner
friendly golf facilities and one of the three areas assessed was
coaching.
At West Hove, considerable emphasis is placed on coaching juniors and
especially girls as they were very poorly represented. As a result of
links with local schools, sports development officers and leisure
centres, the Club recruited a number of new junior members having
received coaching from our PGA staff.
The
Club now has 5 volunteers from the Ladies Section who work as a team
to help support and encourage the new junior girls.
In
addition, a buddy/mentor scheme is in place, operated by the older and
more experienced junior golfers, to help new juniors integrate into
the Junior Section. |
