Megan Bibby
General Manager |
A keen golfer
herself, Megan has been a member of West Hove Golf Club since 1994.
She became the Club Secretary and General Manager in August 2001.
Megan is very proud to have been instrumental in West Hove
being awarded the prestigious GolfMark award in 2006.
On 29
March 2007 Megan won
the 'Secretary of the Year' competition organised by
"Golf Club Management"
magazine. |
Darren
Cook
PGA Professional
Head of the Darren Cook Golf Academy |
Since turning pro in 1989,
Darren went on to become one of the youngest PGA Qualified professionals
in the country.
In 1993 he won the Sussex Professional Matchplay
Championship and was also the Riseborough Memorial Champion.
In 1999 he was the winner of the SPGA Order of Merit.
Darren is
also proud to be Coach to the Sussex
County Golf Union Boys Team. |

Pauline became part of the
West Hove team in March 2004.
As General Administration Assistant to our General Manager, Pauline is responsible for co-ordinating
Golf Society, Conference and Function bookings and is also our wedding reception co-ordinator. |

Russell joined West Hove in
1999 and in 2001 he won both the Sussex Under 21 title and the Sussex
Amateur Championship. He then turned pro’ and represented the Club in the
mini tours around Europe.
During 2007 he started studying for the PGA Foundation Degree which will
keep him busy for the next 3 years. |

Lynn
Stoner
House Manager |
Lynn
is an experienced bar manager having been in the business all her working
life.
Lynn says she thoroughly enjoys the ambience of West Hove
which explains why she has been our bar manager for 10 years and
subsequently appointed House Manager.
Lynn leads a
team of 5 staff, is friendly and outgoing and is known for her distinctive
‘chuckle’. |
Ronnie Clark
PGA Assistant Professional |
Ronnie, who is the grandson of member Derek Rowland, started as a Junior
and represented the Club’s scratch teams on numerous occasions.
Ronnie decided
to turn pro’ early in 2008 and helped out at East Brighton GC. He joined
Darren in July 2008 and is now studying for his PGA degree. He will be
helping Russell with the very popular junior coaching sessions. |

Neil has been
our Catering Manager since 2001 and his catering business provides everything from tasty bar snacks
and full English breakfasts to four-course restaurant fayre.
Neil's team of 6 dedicated staff have received many plaudits for the
excellence of their food and the efficient service provided. |

Graham has been part of West Hove Golf
Club since its
relocation in 1991. A warm and friendly character that you will probably
never forget.
A steady golfer off 9 handicap himself, Graham rarely fails to
feature on the podium when playing any tournament.

Duncan
is yet another long serving member of our team having joined us from
another local golf club in 1999. He made an immediate impact by becoming
the SCGU “Green-keeper of the Year” in 2000. Duncan further distinguished
himself by being the student of the year at Plumpton College in 2003
whilst on a Sports Turf Management course.
Duncan heads a team of 5
excellent green-keepers and is married with 2 young children. |
