After climbing the hill from the 15th green you are rewarded
with a spectacular view of the course. The fairway on this hole is flat
and it is the only hole without a bunker. However, the fairway is narrow,
there is out-of-bounds all down the left and thick rough and shrubs down
to the right. The green is exposed and usually fast.
Pro’s tip:
The 16th is the most difficult hole on the course. A long
dogleg left that is very narrow off the tee. Miss the fairway right at your
peril. Using a fairway wood or iron off the tee means you will not run out
of fairway and although it will leave you a longer second shot, it will
give you the best opportunity of making par. |
