West Hove GC will be 100 years old on 22 September 2010. The Centenary Committee decided that the main celebratory function should be held on the Club's premises. In order to accommodate everyone who wanted to attend, they decided that  it would be prudent to hold the event in the summer (not on 22 September) and employ an external organisation that could provide the 'complete package'.
After careful consideration, 'Super Event' were chosen as they were considered the best company in the South-East to provide a complete event solution. They are able to provide a suitable marquee, excellent food choices and a superb team of catering staff. Their team arrived on Wednesday 30 June and they quickly set about erecting our Centenary marquee. The photos below show the preparations - and the event itself.
In celebration of our centenary, Norman Forrest, the Immediate Past President of the English Golf Union, presented the Club with a commemorative Royal Crown Derby plate - see photo to the right.
