Preston Park in Brighton
was the venue for the first day of the Brighton & Hove
International Festival of Sport.
Darren Cook, our PGA Professional, and his two PGA Assistants, Arron
Trott and Russell Cronin, provided free golf lessons to adults and
hundreds of children in two inflatable driving ranges and on two
small putting holes. They were helped
at various times throughout the day by
a team comprising
Megan Bibby, our General Manager,
her daughter Tania,
her assistant Pauline Danes and supported by the Club Captain
(Dennis Baker),
the Club President (Don Thatcher), Howard Coulson
and all of the Board (Chairman Richard Simmons, John Lane, Ken
Hopkins, Brian Hazelgrove and Jeanie Bailey). Eight images from the
day are shown below.
